Are you a student or young professional looking for a way to strengthen your vocational calling and make a difference? We are now accepting applications for both the fall 2017-spring 2018 and summer 2018 internship terms.
Blood:Water is preparing for round two of the Vision & Call internship program, which mentors and equips young leaders in their vocations while addressing the great need for assistance in the daily operations of nonprofits. Our work is empowered by compassionate, energetic, hard-working students and young professionals who understand our vision, and give their time and talent to fulfill the various needs of the organization. And we promise there will be fun along the way–just ask Faith and Amanda, our current interns, whose time with Blood:Water ends in May!
“I cannot say enough about my internship at Blood:Water. It has allowed me to gain experience in a place where I can grow my understanding of donor relationships, partnerships, and the day-to-day necessities that multiply to sustain the work of an organization. The uniqueness of Blood:Water also makes it possible for me to continue working in and pursuing my passion for a sincere African development, while being surrounded by others who believe in this work.” – Amanda Wojcinski, Engagement Intern
“My favorite part of interning at Blood:Water has been experiencing the way this organization and its staff work behind the scenes, with both integrity and passion. In every detail and decision, each staff member is committed to upholding the dignity and ownership of African communities, as well as respecting the generous donors that make Blood:Water’s work possible. It is a truly humbling experience.” – Faith Donels, Marketing Intern
The deadline to apply for the fall/spring term (9 months) is May 1, or August 1 for the summer 2018 internship (15-20 weeks). Beginning and end dates will be determined by the availability of the candidates. Each internship period requires 20-25 hours per week at our office in Nashville, Tenn., and includes a monthly stipend. Candidates must be 20 years old by the start of the internship to apply.
