Yesterday we announced our co-founder, Jena Lee Nardella, will be releasing her memoir, “One Thousand Wells,” August 25. The book is available for pre-order here. So today’s #PhotoFriday pulls a quote from the first chapter of her book, which is available for free here.
Jena’s memoir is about her journey of compassion, growing up with a strong desire to ensure all humans have a sense of dignity, Blood:Water’s beginnings in Africa, some stories about the band Jars of Clay, and her’s and the band’s audacious goal to build 1,000 wells in Africa. Ultimately, it taught her to love the world instead of save it.
Over the next week, we will be recording interviews with Jena about her book. And we want to ask questions from you. What do you want to know about “One Thousand Wells?” Please leave some questions in the comment box below.
