The holidays are intended to be spent with family and friends, a time for gift-giving, and for celebration of life, joy, and peace. It is easy for each of these things to become lost in the hustle and bustle of decorating, shopping, and preparation. As much as gift-giving is a big part of the holiday season, it can quickly lose its meaning.

This year, Advent begins on Sunday, December 3, and we invite you to take the time to prepare your heart for giving. Gifts are meaningless unless they are given in love. Jesus demonstrated this when he was motivated by his love for us to give himself.
