For this week’s Photo Friday, meet Nate. The family of this sweet, little boy has to pay 10 percent of what they make every day to get water from a government-owned pipeline. What’s worse is that pipeline isn’t exactly close to their home; it’s over a mile away.
If this family doesn’t walk and pay for the water, they are forced to go to a nearby hand-dug well where the water is contaminated and can make them sick.
Nate and his family are a few of The Next Million. Shorten their walk for clean water here.
