Much of the battle against HIV happens in clinics and hospitals. However, true transformation happens when the whole person is addressed. A beautiful example of this is the work happening at the Tumaini Medical Center in Isiolo, Kenya, where our partners are helping to transform the community and end stigma one person at a time.
Leon is one of our partners who serves the people of his community day in and day out in his role as a counselor at the Tumaini Medical Center.

In October, we visited the clinic and heard stories of life-sustaining treatment and healing. Something Leon shared lingers in our minds: “I feel that my life—as God has given it to me—I should spend it walking and working with the less fortunate people in the society. No amount of money could give me that joy.”
