When it comes to HIV, the United Nations is striving to reach a 90-90-90 goal by 2020: 90 percent of people with HIV diagnosed, 90 percent of those diagnosed on antiretroviral drugs, and 90 percent of those diagnosed virally suppressed by 2020.

The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) highlights how they plan to make that possible in Controlling the epidemic: Delivering on the promise of an AIDS-free generation.
