Happy Friday from Blood:Water! As we move into a new year, we want to highlight a few fundraisers who help fuel our mission to end the HIV/AIDS and water crises with their creativity and hard work.
If you don’t know Sally Kuhn, you’re missing out! She’s traveled with us to Zambia and competes in triathlons in the name of clean water for Africa. We are happy to have her in the Blood:Water family as one of our most successful fundraisers of all time (she’s almost reached her goal of $20k!). But these days she’s onto something new, and we like it! Sally has teamed up with CycleBar Franklin to host cycling classes for clean water. On Dec. 4, she hosted her second class and had over 30 people join her to sweat it out for a good cause!
Lily Katherine is another consistent fundraiser who never stops making an impact! She’s raised over $2,500 for clean water in Africa, and just last week she stopped by the office to add on to her Lemon:Aid empire. We are so impressed with Lily Katherine’s hard work and commitment to ending the water crisis!
Looking for the perfect item to complete your Christmas shopping list? Pear’d has you covered! This beautiful pouch is manufactured with hand-made, African fabric, and the proceeds from its purchase go to Blood:Water.
Another great opportunity to give a gift that makes an impact this holiday season is purchasing home decor from The House Crafts! Their wide range of fabulous pieces are not only ideal for anyone left on your list, but 10 percent of your purchase on any item in the store will be donated to Blood:Water.
If you are interested in joining us as a fundraiser, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected] or 615.550.4296. I’d love to hear your ideas and cheer you on as you make a difference for our friends in Africa!
