Global Standards for Quality Health-Care Services for Adolescents: Volume 4
Overview
This document is part of the Global standards for quality health-care services for adolescents: a guide to implement a standards-driven approach to improve the quality of health-care services for adolescents. It is one of four volumes published separately, which include:
- Volume 1: Standards and criteriaÂ
- Volume 2: Implementation guide
- Volume 3: Tools to conduct quality and coverage measurement surveys to collect data about compliance with the global standards
- Volume 4: Scoring sheets for data analysis
Volume 4 (Scoring Sheets for Data Analysis) provides a comprehensive measurement framework and methodology for assessing health facilities’ compliance with global adolescent care standards. Serving as an operational companion to the monitoring tools in Volume 3, this guide outlines standardized scoring sheets organized criterion-by-criterion. It details data analysis techniques across diverse evaluation tools—including client exit interviews, direct observations, facility manager surveys, and community assessments. By converting qualitative findings and observational metrics into absolute and relative percentage scores, the document enables health programs to rigorously evaluate service quality, track implementation fidelity, and identify areas requiring targeted quality improvement.
