Overview
This insight report provides one of the most comprehensive analyses of the social enterprise ecosystem in Africa, examining the sector’s contribution to inclusive growth, job creation, and sustainable development. Drawing on a survey of 1,980 social enterprises across Africa, the report estimates that the continent has approximately 2.18 million social enterprises generating at least $96 billion in annual revenue and creating at least 12 million jobs.
